your world is flawed.. or rather.. your world view is flawed.. not to say that mine is correct..
there is a saying.. "Opinions are like assholes, everybody has one"
and although i feel that it misses a larger point.. that assholes actually have a use.. it does ring true.. everyone has a notion about the way that things "need" to be done, and this gets us nowhere.. it leads only to bickering, hurt feelings, and someone ending up feel as if they got the short end of the stick.. but that last one can't really be helped, seeing as there are seven and a half Billion people.. that is a lot of motherfuckers to have to worry about when making a decision.. think about it, that is a shit ton of zeros..

right..
the next time you are faced with a decision, and need to form an opinion.. please.. for the love of your god/gods/goddess.. use logic to come to your conclusion.. and i'm not talking logic that you push through your life's story filter.. and if you don't know the difference.. by all means take this opportunity to go study some logic.. don't forget you do have the internet at your disposal.. and it is a tool that should be exploited..
my digressions are killing me here..
anyway..
use logic.. be a pragmatist.. not opinionated and emotional, but logical and pragmatic when faced with, really, any decision.. you might find that you make less mistakes.. and when you do fuck up.. you can look back on it and not feel to bad.. because you will have reacted to the situation at hand, rather than how you felt..
then again.. in the end.. i probably won't have followed my own advice either.. but you know.. we are only human..

Rather than use Logic as a tool of thought, most simply choose a philosophy of life that will most justify their illogical actions... Circular and endless...
For example:
"I choose (insert some "X" here...) because of it makes me feel good about myself..."
To add insult to injury, in order to continue to successfully achieve this false stasis humans constantly adjust their philosophies because life is not the static structure they so want to believe.
In essence, we all lie to ourselves and to each other in order to avoid problems. The problems generated are usually solved by either wholly avoiding the situation or some sort of false forgiveness after the fact that is nothing more than paradigm shift in a life philosophy...
Like I said... Circular and endless...
Put that in your pipe and smoke it for a while...
